Why USA Volleyball?

Safety

USAV establishes benchmarks for facilities and is proactive in teaching safety guidelines to players, coaches, club directors, officials, event organizers and organizations to ensure the safest environment possible.  Every adult (coach, club director, chaperone, official, etc.) working with junior players has a comprehensive background check done every two years.

 Local, Regional and National Events

Players have the opportunity to compete in high-quality, exciting USA Volleyball sanctioned competitions, both indoor and outdoor that are only open to USA V members.

The USAV Junior National Championships are hosted annually for boys and girls teams in age divisions 12-18 years old with eligibility made available through elite qualifying tournaments, such as the Pacific National Qualifier in Spokane, held throughout the country.

Coaching Education for Every USA Volleyball Coach

Every coach of a USA Volleyball team takes an entry level coaching course through USA Volleyball.  Throughout their coaching career, they have various coaches training programs available to them on the club, regional and national level.  Among our coaching ranks are the foremost volleyball experts in the Puget Sound Region.

Certified USA Volleyball Officials

Every USA Volleyball event in the Puget Sound Region has the presence of a trained volleyball official to oversee the players and coaches officiating, officiate matches through the day and educate the players in the rules and regulations of the game.

The Regional and National High Performance Programs

USA Volleyball athletes have the opportunity to strive towards higher competition through the USA Volleyball High Performance programs which are the pipelines to the USA National Team.  Both indoors and on the beach, athletes will have the opportunity to earn their way into the High Performance program through participation in National and Regional tryouts.  The best athletes will have the opportunity to travel to prestigious tournaments and represent themselves and their Region.
