Coach Schwan brings over 21 years of coaching experience to the Sound Premier Volleyball Team. Schwan has coached ages 6 thru college age. In 2013 she guided the Puget Sound Region Youth High Performance Team to their best ever finish at the USA Volleyball High Performance Championship Tournament. The team finished third, losing only to USA A2 National Team level competition along the way. Schwan is an active part of the Women’s volleyball community in the Region and played college volleyball at Lewis and Clark State College in Idaho. His daughter Kiana graduates from Anacortes High School in 2014 and is being recruited by several college programs. Calles credits much of his coaching success to the time he has spent working with Paula Schwan at the Puget Sound Region High Performance camps.
